Baby shoes/boots don't get much more adorable than this. Zander just got his 12 month shots so he's covered in bandaids, but I think it adds to the cuteness of seeing his chunkly legs covered in bandaids. I used the baby sized pattern from I Think Sew but they also have toddler size as well. I love their patterns because they are simple and easy to follow. Personally, I lined them with fleece and used an anti-skid gripper fabric for the sole. This is great added traction for babies just learning how to walk.
Making these were a bit tricky but totally doable. Tip: just remember to switch the Velcro and buttons of the flap on the opposite shoe, or else you’ll wind up with ‘2 left feet’ (like I did the first time around).
